When the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act signed into law on October 13th, it shook up the poker industry heavily. One of the biggest bones of contention that critics of the law put up was how it exempted State Lotteries and Horse Racing from the online ban. In response to the law one online poker site, Wicked Chops Poker, has changed their theme to become Wicked Chops State Lotteries. While they wait to see how the chips will fall regarding the new poker legislation, they will focus on reporting, with tongue planted firmly in cheek, on the goings on regarding state lotteries. As a trial run the site will test the waters of lottery news and see if they can make a go of it.
