JC Tran is no stranger to the World Poker Tour. He was one of those players who managed to make it to the final table time and time again without winning until last year, and on day one of the World Poker Tour North American Poker Championship it looked like he was using his experience to his advantage. At the end of the day he held 159,300 chips, a comfortable place to be in while he spent the weekend in Niagara Falls waiting for Day 2 on Monday. This event has players as young as 19, thanks to the lower age limit in Ontario, Canada, where the event is taking place, and 125 total players joined in the fun.
