When the Houston Police Department began investigating an underground poker den - complete with high tech security access and camera surveillance - it would end in a joint effort raid that would lead to fifteen arrests and a SWAT and HPD charge. Doors were broken down and cash and equipment were seized, and the poker world sat up and took notice. In a development on the case, fourteen of those arrested have been charged with a felony offense - engaging in organized crime. Dealers, game runners and even waitresses were charged. Some of those charged are still being held without bail, as they have prior felony records.
