Matt Sowash and his Amateur Poker Tour were under investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and it was to this body Sowash turned with reports of death threats. The man doing the threatening, Christopher Steelman, recently had the charges against him reduced, with conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping charges dropped.
