An online poker room that took a new approach to the game in order to dodge legal issues in the United States has closed their virtual doors. Duplicate Poker, which dealt the same cards to players in the same seats at different tables in order to take the "luck" factor out of the game, cited the current economic conditions as the reason for shutting down. This announcement of closure came not long after an announcement that the site was doing better than ever and had recently celebrated a milestone of record attendance and player base.
