Jordan Morgan is the chip captain at the United States Poker Championship, which has come down to 27 players starting on Friday. Holding the lead with 567,000 in tournament chips, Morgan is a favorite for the $878,500 first-place prize, but the other 26 players can't be counted out yet. This has already been a great year of poker for Morgan, who has seen four World Series of Poker cashes, one of which was a final table appearance that ended with a $87,000 prize, a significant part of the $287,111 career tournament earnings the Muldrow, Oklahoma Resident can lay claim to. All of the players are now in the money, each going home with at least $25,000.
