Where could it be more appropriate to hold an Olympic No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament than in Texas? It would appear that the organizers of the 2006 Texas Senior Olympics had the same idea, as they hosted their third annual No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament in Round Rock. Lest the doubtful think tagging the event "Olympics" is just an effort at wit, let them know that track, swimming and other events of physical prowess are the mainstay of the occasion, but the seniors also enjoy playing poker. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded to the champions of the poker event, just like all the other events, and bragging rights come along with the medals.
