In the wake of the passing of the Anti-Online Gambling Act by the US Senate, many in the poker industry began speculating that the poker rooms would turn their back against US players. While some actually did so in advance of the bill's passing, shutting off access to all customers with a US address, others, like Paradise Poker, have announced that they have no intention of leaving US market. According to the parent company of Paradise Poker, which issued a statement on the topic, they will not leave the US until banks decide to comply with the measure. As many banks have already stated they are not equipped to comply with the ban, only time will tell what the final impact of the ban will be.
