The World Championship of Online Poker main event has come to a close, and JC Tran took the big prize at the event. Playing under the user name of area23JC, Tran has won the biggest online tournament in history, taking the winner's share of a $6,275,000 prize pool. More than $18 million in prize money was paid out for 18 events, with the main event's guaranteed $3 million prize pool more than doubled in the process. 2,510 poker players paid a $2,500 buy-in to play the game. With pro Tran in the final table running, pros like Victor Ramdin, Greg Raymer, Tom McEvoy and last year's WSOP champ, Joe Hachem, all logged in to chat and said, "Hi".
