Poker Room Numbers Are Up

Online poker room company Betfair has seen a jump in revenue by roughly a third recently, thanks to marketing and a new online casino. Part of the surge in revenue comes from a jump in active users by more than half, hitting over four hundred and thirty thousand by April. In addition to the new offerings of the poker room, Betfair brought in new customers through the betting exchange and after the football World Cup of the summer. Betfair Poker was the sponsor of the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe this year, and signed the winner, Annette Obrestad, on as a member of their pro player team.
