The face of poker has changed its look many times over the last few years. As pros adjust to the influx of amateurs on what used to be exclusive stomping grounds, and as newcomers to the game of poker struggled to make their way from internet to live play, the net effect has been a lot of energy and attention pointed towards poker in general. While it used to be the pros getting invaded by the internet players, the reverse is now also true. At PokerStar.com's World Championship of Online Poker, an event that is eclipsed only by the World Series of Poker in terms of number of players, big name pros showed up on the virtual felt to play their game. Chad Brown, Humberto Brenes, Isabelle Mercier, and Sam Grizzle all made final table appearances at recent WCOOP events. Brown took a title, $223,125 and a 14 karat gold WCOOP bracelet.
