World Poker Tour Partners with APL

As WPT commentator Mike Sexton is fond of saying, poker players everywhere dream of playing at a World Poker Tour final table, and now that dream has come a bit closer to becoming a reality. Now that the WPT has signed a five year contract with a popular bar league poker group players can compete for a WPT seat in their own neighborhood. The Amateur Poker League has joined up with the World Poker Tour to offer one $10k seat to the season winner. The new name for the joint effort is the World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, which will host free poker events in more than a dozen states in the US.
