Poker players and students of Michigan State University are showing they have a heart of gold by participating in a poker tournament to raise money to help children. The event, which will put the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, will be held at a Lansing area establishment known as Trippers Sports Bar. The event organizer, Jonathan Parker, has pointed out how nice it is to help the local community and the children suffering from life threatening illnesses, which is the function of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The game will be Texas Holdem, and organizers have a target goal of $30,000 to raise.
