Pippa Flanders can now say she makes more than her husband at their shared career - professional poker player. The 48-year-old New Longtoner recently claimed $200,000 as the top prize money in the PartyPoker.com World Open, which pushed her passed her husband and fellow pro player, Tim Flanders, as far as tournament money earned is concerned. The event, which took place in London, pitted Flanders against more than 70 other players, many of them big name professionals such as Harry Demetriou and Roland De Wolfe, both former winners of this event, and the returning champion Lee Nelson. Flanders was one of only two women in the event, which featured a handful of online qualifiers. Flanders' big win was the biggest ever took by a woman in Europe.
