Online poker players typically have a lot of pride in their performance if they do well, and likely would rather not have it be known if they do poorly, but till now that information was public knowledge, thanks to some websites scanning, tracking and ranking players at well known sites. One well known online poker site has come out against this practice and sent out a cease and desist notice that would effectively end it. This action was taken after some online poker players complained that the tracking and reporting was a violation of their privacy.
