Their accomplishments have been eclipsed in recent years due to the popularity of Texas Holdem, but many experts are betting on blackjack to once again overtake poker in terms of popularity. The facts that a number of online poker sites offer new blackjack games, such as Ultimate Bet's Elimination Blackjack, and that the Ultimate Blackjack Tour was created by former world poker champion Russ Hamilton only add to the reputation of the game. Airing on September 16th on CBS, the UBT also used the elimination blackjack format that Hamilton and others are counting on to woo poker players back to playing 21.Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, and Antonio Esfandiari are participating in the UBT, which is interesting as they are also affiliated with the Ultimate Bet website.
