Heartland Poker Tour Champ Mark Sandness

The Northern Lights Casino just wrapped up their leg of the Heartland Poker Tour recently, and the new HPT champ is one Mark Sandness, picking up more than fifty grand and a seat into the Heartland Poker Tour Championship Tournament at the end of the season. The $53,000 pay day came after 136 players tried and lost in the main event, which wrapped up on September 17th. Mark is a real estate manager and owner from Moorhead, Minnesota. He entered the final table as one of the chip leaders. Lawrence Barbetta from Orono took second and $26,600.
