UK Poker Room Hearing Coming

Europe's largest card room may soon become the United Kingdom's first legal poker club, depending on how an upcoming hearing pans out. The club, named Dusk Till Dawn, will have its day in court on September 24th, and is having its opening blocked by Gala, London Clubs International and Stanleys, three casinos. Their claim of "insufficient demand" will be sorted out during the hearing for the club, which has already picked up a Certificate of Consent, the first of many steps to gaining support of the Gaming Board. If the Dawn Till Dusk club gets a positive review, there will be seating for more than 400 players, four times any other club in the UK.
