French Look to Online Gambling, Snub Poker

The Government of France and the European Union have a lot to talk about when it comes to online gambling, meeting as they are in Brussels to consider relaxing the hard line rules governing French online gambling. Conspicuously absent from the talk of moving forward on this subject is online poker. While French casinos look to France-based online poker as a way to prevent players from playing at online sites from out of the country, the government does not seem to agree with their assessment of the situation.
