In North Carolina it is illegal to play poker for money in an organized event, but that is exactly what poker pros Chris Bell and Michael Gracz were doing when a weekend raid on a secret casino took place. Over a dozen police officers spent eight hours collecting evidence and conducting the raid, which authorities said took place at a hidden casino with sophisticated equipment. Over $70k in cash was seized in what the state Division of Alcohol Law Enforcement officers described as a "small version of a Las Vegas... casino." Officers said Gracz's comment about hunting down worse crimes is irrelevant as they can't selectively choose which laws to enforce.
