The County of Alameda Sheriff's Department will hold a Poker Ride at 8:30 AM this Saturday, September 16th to benefit the Special Olympics. Arlen Ness Motorcycles is co-sponsoring the poker ride and the ride will begin at Arlen Ness, 6050 Dublin Blvd.
A poker ride is an event in which participants pay an entry fee and ride a course consisting of five stops. At each stop the participant receives a playing card. After five stops, at the end of the course, poker hands are compared and the best hand wins. The course for this poker ride is approximately 93 miles from Dublin to Pleasanton and back.
Prior to the ride, Arlen Ness Motorcycles will have an open house, and after the ride, Ness will host a party with food and live music. Prizes will be awarded during the party.
