With the fate of online poker still undecided in the United States, many companies are taking steps to move in either direction, depending on the decision of the US Senate on the bill passed to them by the US House of Representatives. The bill would enforce a ban on online poker, and many online poker rooms are already banning players with US addresses to avoid any problems. With a number of arrests in the US of gambling sites representatives, it is understandable that companies would take steps to protect themselves. Other companies, however, are moving in a positive direction with "US Compliant" poker sites. Poker Creations, for example, is emphasizing the work they did for Milwaukee's Best Light Beer's online poker tournament as being US Compliant.
