Air Racing Event Gets Poker Sponsorship

Aero GP's first airborne racing event is taking place this weekend in Malta, and it found sponsorship in online poker room Betfair Poker, that has signed on as the main sponsor for the year. Malta is the headquarters for Betfair, so the connection is natural. International motorsports series Aero GP officially launched in 2005. The World Champion Flying Ace will be determined by Aero's race, as last years was when the competition took place in Slovenia. This year there will be three events starting with the Grand Prix of Malta. Military and civilian trained pilots compete from around the world, and Betfair will get the benefit of that exposure.
