2008 Borgata Poker Open Breaks Records

The opening day of the 2008 Borgata Poker Open broke some records with a registration of 1,192 players and a $5 million guaranteed prize pool. The sixth annual Borgata Poker Open boasts plenty of Atlantic City regulars among the poker pros that travel in to play. Local players include Tony Salerno, Davidson Matthew and Dale Pinchot. One player, Boris Kravets, is familiar with the venue, having played in the 2008 Borgata Summer Open. The events are held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
