Online Poker Site to Close

By launchpoker, Sep 5, 2006

For poker players at the All In Poker site, they will need to act fast to keep from losing any money they may have on deposit when the site shuts down on Friday, September 22. All in Poker drew in many of its customers on a revenue-sharing basis, built upon a multilevel marketing platform. The concept was simple: players were offered 51% of net revenues generated at the poker room as long as they brought in other players, and were promised "a significant monthly income stream". Affiliates were promised seven levels of downline referrals to build their income, but both players and affiliates are out of luck as the web site will be closing. Players and affiliates were notified by e-mail, with the official reason being that not enough players signed up to make their business model sustainable.
