WSOP Champ Plans Reality Show

By launchpoker, Sep 4, 2006

When World Series of Poker Champion Jamie Gold says he is going to launch a reality show, you might think it would be about poker, and you might think he is bluffing. The former Hollywood talent agent could pull it off, however: not only does he run his own TV production company, but with a prize of $12 million from his win at the 37th annual WSOP, he could practically fund it himself. He could fund it, that is, if he gets the full paycheck - someone claiming he pretends to split the top prize with Gold has filed an injunction against the latest "Ambassador of Poker" to prevent him from cashing in until the matter is settled. The show won't be about poker, however, says Gold; he says they are looking for the "Hottest Mom in America".
