In December of 2005 a high school class president in Pennsylvania was arrested after robbing a bank to fuel a gambling binge and pay off online poker debts, and was sent to prison. Greg Hogan, Jr, has served 22 months of his sentence and was recently released from the Pennsylvania State Prison where he was serving his time. Hogan’s father, a minister, used the occasion of his son’s arrest and incarceration to promote an anti gambling campaign. Hogan will be on probation - and not allowed inside a casino - until 2016.
