Macau Poker Event Won by Timoshenko

Yevgeniy Timoshenko

The Asian Poker Tour’s heralded event in Macau is over, and the winner is 20-year-old Yevgeniy Timoshenko from the United States. Timoshenko stood alone at the end, with a half million first place prize after beating Joon Hee Yeah from South Korea in heads up play. Yeah won $250k, and third place for $126k was Rober Karlian from Thailand. The final table was made up of players from many countries, but there were no big name pros like Doyle Brunson, Todd Brunson, JC Tran, John Juanda or Johnny Chan, who were all in the event.
