When the 37th annual World Series of Poker's Main Event came to an end, the Hollywood agent Jamie Gold was the sole survivor - the man who claimed the biggest prize in poker history, $12 million. It wasn't long, however, before drama surfaced surrounding Gold, who had apparently made a deal that would cost him half of his winnings. With the money on hold by court order until the details could be worked out, rumors began to fly on the Internet about Jamie Gold's story. Even his background as a Hollywood agent was called into question, specifically whether or not he represented The Sopranos star James Gandolfini. James Gandolfini's current agent, Mark Armstrong, wrote a letter defending Gold saying that he had indeed represented James Gandolfini, as well as at Lucy Liu, Felicity Huffman, and Jimmy Fallon.
