While gambling and casinos, along with numerous other risky activities, have always been a part of the James Bond 007 mystique, the new Bond film due out in November, Casino Royale, has tapped into the current zeitgeist and is having poker play a pivotal role in the plot. The new Bond actor, Daniel Craig has recently admitted to becoming a bit of a Poker fiend thanks to having to learn how to play the game convincingly in his role as the British super spy. In the film the antagonist is ruined when he is bluffed in a poker game by James Bond. In order to help the actors learn to portray the game convincingly, British card player John Ducey was hired on to advise the actors.
