In the world of online poker to multi-account means to have more than one account at one poker room, and this is considered a very bad thing. To have more than one account means you could be logged in in two open accounts during the same tournament - possibly at the same table - and have access to information that a single account holder would not. Full Tilt Poker pro Brian Townsend recently admitted to - and apologized for - multi-accounting at both that and another poker room. He admitted his transgression after consultation with CardRunners COO Lee Jones.
