Affleck Proves Poker Prowess

Actor Ben Affleck is known to enjoy playing the game of poker, and in the past he showed he knew what he was about when he won the California State Championship. Recently he showed he still has the skills when he beat a 100-player field at the "Poker at the Ballpark" charity poker tournament. The event was hosted by the Poker Players Alliance during the 2008 Democratic National Convention, and raised more than $60,000 for the Paralyzed Veterans of America. In the game there were other celebrities such as Richard Dreyfuss and Montel Williams and poker pros like Barry Greenstein.
