Poker Used to Showcase Technology

Coming up in September is the AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2007 West, a time for web technology experts to showcase their wares and demonstrate their skills - and have a little fun playing poker. Coinciding with the event will be the AJAXWorld Poker Tournament, open to all participants free of charge. Players will need to have their own laptops with wireless modems, however, to compete for daily prizes and the grand prize. Prizes include a Wii console and games, iPods and other items. The purpose of the tournament, besides playing poker, is to show off Web 2.0 technology.
