Freddy Deeb Makes It to Poker Invitational

This year will be the third Poker Superstars Invitational; last Sunday four players had made it to the quarterfinal round. Two more rounds out of four are left in order to determine who the final players will be. Freddie Deeb took the fifth spot on the Fox Sports Net show by beating out Gus Hansen, Erik Lindgren, and the Robin Hood of Poker, Barry Greenstein, to move on. Along with Deeb, Mike Matusow, Antonio Esfandiari, Card Player Magazine editor-in-chief Jeff Shulman, and world champion Johnny Chan are all in the quarterfinal round. Players such as Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Mike Sexton, Chris Ferguson, and Joe Hachem failed to make it through the finals. The Poker Superstars Invitational airs on FSN at 8pm local time every Sunday night.
