Asia-Pacific Poker Tour Kicks Off

The very first day of the very first event of the very first ever Asia-Pacific Poker Tour took place recently in Manila, Philippines, as 254 players put up $2,500 each in order to play. This marks the very first major televised poker tournament in the Philippines, and big name pros such as Joe Hachem, Daniel Negreanu and Vanessa Rousso and even Hachem's brother Tony came out to play. The APPT will also take place in South Korea, potentially Japan and China, and wrap things up with a grand finale in Australia.
