Ladbrokes PLC, the company that owns Ladbrokes betting and gaming outlets, recently announced interim financial results to the London Stock Exchange. Analysts reviewing the data say that overall the numbers look healthy, but there are some signs that Ladbrokes exponential growth in recent years could have some adverse effects on the outfit. Ladbrokes itself highlights the increased competition, particularly in Sweden with the launch of their state lottery poker site. They also pointed out that the competitive environment remains tough for poker, yet overall the statements were very positive for Ladbrokes.
