When Perdue School of Business Management student David Wood found out that he would be a member of the final table in Absolute Poker's Win Your Tuition event, he knew he would win it. He had such a commanding chip lead that he figured he had it all in the bank - until the organizers of the tournament told him they were leveling the playing field. They gave everyone the same amount of starting chips in order to prevent the televised tournament from looking too lopsided. Wood told them he was going to win it anyway, and he did. The Win Your Tuition event pays for a semester at school for the winner - and that's what David was expecting. A second surprise was in store for Wood, however, when the organizers informed him they were going to pay for his entire year.
