When Mike Sexton, the mouthpiece of the World Poker Tour and the "Ambassador of Poker", was asked about his thoughts on all electronic poker rooms, such as the new move by the Excalibur casino to replace their human dealers with Poker Pro tables from PokerTek, he predicted that it is the "wave of the future." Sexton says it makes sense for the casinos and once the players get used to it the computer controlled poker tables will be found everywhere. It might be a while before that future comes to pass, however, as MGM Mirage, which owns the Excalibur and ten other casinos, are not planning on repeating the move with other properties.
