The fight for US poker rights will be moving its headquarters from one coast to the other soon, with the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) leaving San Francisco for Washington, DC. Considering the fight for poker is taking place in the nation's capital the move makes sense, putting the grassroots organization in reach of the legislators and politicians making the decisions on regulating and legalizing online poker in the United States. The move isn't the only new thing for the PPA, as the organization takes on a new president. John Pappas is in the new role as Michael Bolcerek steps down to stay in the San Fran area.
