Poker Event Raises Big Dollars

The youth charities that served as beneficiaries from what has been touted as "the largest Poker Run in North America" have a lot to celebrate as the 15th annual Emerald Coast Poker Run raised more than $200k. The poker run, which is one of the biggest events of Boat Week, was a huge success with more than 170 volunteers and 255 boats taking part in the fun, fundraising event. The Emerald Coast Foundation is the main beneficiary of the event, which uses money to help youth outfits in the area such as the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA.
