Now that the dust has settled from the World Series of Poker, it's time for everyone to count up their points. Online poker rooms get notoriety points if they can get a player in the winner's circle at any World Series of Poker, such as Bodog.com sponsoring the newest champion, Jamie Gold. One particular poker room provided almost 20% of the World Series of Poker entrance, sponsoring 1623 players at the 2006 WSOP. Poker Stars, perhaps best known for being the sponsor of the previous three champions in a row, managed to get three players into the final table: Doug Kim, Dan Nassif, and Erik Friberg. Poker Stars players took the total at around $21 million from the 46 open events.
