Online Poker Firm After Chandler

The sports betting firm Victor Chandler is up for grabs among three bidders, and leading the pack is online poker firm Party Gaming. Party Gaming is the world's largest online poker and casino operator, and is a newcomer to the sports betting game now that they have acquired the Bulgarian-based Gamebookers for 69 million pounds.Victor Chandler Group, based out of Gibraltar, is worth about 300 million pounds. Coming from its flotation on the stock market last year, VCG has a war chest of 500 million pounds. The corporate firm Zeus Capital has been retained by VCG in order to evaluate unsolicited approaches. Both companies refused to comment on the potential acquisitions.
