When it comes to poker players, there is no end to the variety of personalities, lifestyles, stories and opinions that abound when these card game fanatics get together. There is one thing most can seem to agree on, however, and that is that the pending legislation sitting in the US Senate "To Do" box should not be passed. Over 100,000 have signed a petition put forth by the Poker Players Alliance, an outfit organized for seemingly this very purpose, in order to speak with one voice to keep online poker play legal and to get it regulated. If this could be done, say the pro poker crowd, it could be worth billions to the US government in terms of income tax alone.
