A Vancouver area poker tournament will be getting a little help from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation according to a recent news article from the British Columbia province of the Great White North. Calling on players with "nerves of steel" to prove themselves as "the best in the west at poker", the article outlined a total estimated prize pool of $600,000. The player to win this event will walk with $125,000. The event will offer three days of No Limit Texas Holdem tournament play and will kick off on September 1st.
