Poker Program Creator Says No Fear on Bots

When a poker blogger put up an article titled "Will computer programs destroy online poker? Probably” and based his assumptions on the performance of Polaris II, the man who developed Polaris took exception. Andrew Smith published the article, where he pointed to the victory by poker AI Polaris recently over human players as an indication that poker bots are to be feared. In contrast Dr. Darse Billings of Polaris fame came out and said he made a ridiculous conclusion for many reasons, including the fact that Polaris only plays Limit Holdem.
