Poker Run for Police

While in some parts of the US it might seem like poker players are on the run from police, in South Carolina a Poker Run is being held to help the police, or at least one officer in particular. Lake View Police Officer Michael Jackson was diagnosed with colon cancer and his friends responded with a desire to help. Buddy Michael Barfield, understanding money was going to be a big need for time off and treatment, organized a poker run. To be held on August 23rd, the poker run will kick off at Country Line Club at 11 am, with a $10 donation to help Officer Jackson.
