2006 WSOP: Two Events Wrapping Up the Day Before the Big Day at WSOP

This week a number of "second chance" events have been running in the Amazon Room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. These events have all been one or two day tournaments, following the traditional freezeout style of tournament play, and have all been No-Limit Texas Holdem. All but one have been $1,500 buy in, and one only $1,000. Today Event 44 wraps up on its second day, and Event 45 starts and ends in a one-day last chance offering for anyone who wants to take home a World Series of Poker bracelet this year and isn't playing in the final table of the Main Event tomorrow. Even though attendance at these events have been dropping, the winners still traditionally take home over $100,000.
