2006 WSOP: Bubble Boys Compete for 2007 WSOP Main Event Entry

Milwaukee's Best Light, a new affiliate of the World Series of Poker as their "presenting sponsor" had a surprise in store for the nine players who finished just outside of the money. Those who finished in places from 874 through 882, "on the bubble" as they say, were offered a spot at a special single table winner take all shootout which was played on Saturday, August 5, at 1:30 p.m. In the end it was Sunnyvale, California resident Hoa Man Nguyen who won the entry for next year, saving him $10,000. As an extra bonus, in addition to the WSOP entry, Nguyen won a year supply of beer.
