2006 WSOP: Chris Ferguson Out of WSOP Running

There won't be another World Series of Poker Main Event championship bracelet on the horizon for professional player Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, at least not this year as the Man in Black busted out of the Main Event last night. Ferguson, who rose to poker stardom when he won the Main Event in the year 2000, is well-known for his dark glasses and black cowboy hat as well as the long tresses and gaunt figure that earned him his nickname. One of the favorites going into the event Chris's absence will make the game that much easier for those remaining in pursuit of the $12 million first-place prize. When Chris won the Main Event his prize was $2.5 million.
