Irish Poker Championship Underway

The Eglinton Card Room and Casino saw the cards in the air for the first stop on this year’s Party Poker Irish Poker Championship Tour. There will be seven more stops in Ireland to celebrate the events, and players still have a chance to qualify at the online site that sponsors the events, Party Poker. The first stop on the tour featured a lot of big name poker players, such as Marcel "the Flying Dutchman" Luske, Jon Kalmar, Padraig Parkinson, Noel Furlong, and Mike Sexton. The biggest name Irish player in the event would be Mad Marty Wilson.
